Alexis Vaughn

Lex Vaughn is a performer and visual artist based in Toronto. She plays drums in the bands Dating Service and The Hidden Cameras, and was a member of The Second City Touring and Mainstage Companies. Lex is also one-half of the comic duo Glyph, with David Tomlinson, was a co-founder of the art collective,”Bucky and Fluff’s Craft Factory”, with Allyson Mitchell, and is co-creator of the video dance series “Doppelganger,” with John Caffery. Lex’s first solo art show, a performance-based installation titled, “Peanut Brittle,” was named “most realised gallery show of 2004” by journalist R.M. Vaughan. Look for Lex in John Cameron Mitchell’s new film, “Shortbus.”
