George Lyter

George Lyter is a man of many talents. From a contract actor to the network he has starred in a number one rated daytime show, General Hospital on ABC , to a Grammy nominated multi-million dollar selling songwriter signed to Sony Music, earning Gold and Platinum records from around the world. Lyter has now taken his evolutionary artistic path into the realm of filmmaking. In a matter of months, Lyter’s two debut short films, “The Seamstress” and “Peanuts and Pumps” have won accolades, awards, and enthusiastic audiences from around the globe, appearing in over 35 international film festivals with upcoming DVD releases. George is co-founder and co-producer and programmer of BlinkFest, a new queer short film festival, which debued last year in New York City and is currently touring cities nationally…as well as creating, co-producing, and programming an edgy, progressive monthly television series called ADD-TV (Attention Deficit Television) which has taken Manhattan by storm, clocking in over 100,000 hits on its website in just nine months, ADD-TV showcases George Lyter’s constructive ability to champion and pave the way for queer filmmakers and their short films to broaden their exposure to its community and mainstream open doors for more opporutinities to continue to create. Lyter says, “The short filmmakers of today are the feature filmmakers of tomorrow.”
