Guillermina Buzio

Guillermina was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1972. In 1998 she completed a degree in Fine Arts at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyredon. While there she taught painting and sculpture to both children and adults. In 2000 she moved to Vancouver to study Media Arts at the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. As a visual artist she has worked in a diverse range of media, including painting, performance and installation, and has had several exhibitions throughout Latin America. Recently Guillermina has worked in a number of films as assistant director and has organized film and video screenings based on human rights and the economic crisis in Argentina. Currently she lives in Toronto.
