Ilo Orleans

Ilo Orleans has fifteen years of experience in stage, television and film production, both in front of and behind the camera. Ilo has directed and produced short films, music videos, electronic press kits, multi-camera live performances, stage plays, and commercials. Having worked as talent in over two hundred commercials, TV shows, films, stage plays and music videos, his work with actors is extensive. As a writer, Ilo, along with his writing partner film editor Phyllis Housen, has adapted and put into development Christopher Bram’s novel “Gossip” as the film project entitled “Slander.” The two were also commissioned to write the true-life story of ACLU lawyer Susan Douglas McGrievey. Orleans is a graduate of Syracuse University School of Visual and Performing Arts. He has studied with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts Abroad Program, Manhattan Punch Line’s Comedy Corps., University of California Los Angeles Extension Program in Making the Short Fiction Film, The Director as Storyteller and the Director’s Workshop.
