Anna Malkin

Anna Malkin has been producing short video works since before she got out of art school, which was a long time ago. She has worked in post-production sound for feature films and TV. More recently, she has been working as a video editor and instructor for independent and artists’ video work. Her past video shorts, “Mom, I think I’m…” (1996) and “Dianna” (1998) have been screened at Lesbian and Gay Film Festivals internationally. Her recent short video documentary, “First You Need a Fire: The Raku Ceramic Artwork of Melvyn Malkin,” is currently airing on Bravo!. “The Amazing Amazons” is her first film.
