Vicki Sugars

Vicki Sugars has a background in film production as a first assistant director on feature films. MOUSTACHE is Vicki’s first film as director and in 2004 it was invited to screen in competition at the Venice Film Festival. It has since gone on to screen in over 130 festivals in 32 countries. Also in 2004, Vicki was an associate producer on the multi-award winning feature film, LOOK BOTH WAYS. In 2005 she produced the 5 minute animation EXTREME MAKEOVER, a claymation on the trials of plastic surgery, which recently premiered at the 2006 Annecy Animation Festival in France. Vicki is currently in pre-production on her second film THE GULF, a half hour drama about psychological violence within a marriage. She also has a feature film in development with the South Australian Film Corporation.
