Pamela Gawn

Pamela Gawn has a background as a documentary photographer and has been practicing and exhibiting photography since she graduated from Ryerson University. She has exhibited her photos in Toronto and internationally. “Calling Nate” is her first half-hour documentary, made at Sheridan College – where she trained under renowned cinematographer Richard Leiterman and documentary filmmaker/photographer Vladimir Kabelik. Currently Pamela is honing her skills as a cinematographer on several documentary projects in the Toronto area. Prior to “Calling Nate,” Pamela directed two short Super 8 films. An infomercial on hair removal inspires a transformed “Tony” to take to the streets in “Disco Love,” while “Girlsploit” features a group of young women discussing pop culture and the addictive qualities of “The Young and the Restless.”
