Christian Lloyd

Getting LUCKY marks Christian Lloyd’s directorial debut. Christian graduated from the University of Guelph with an Honours BSc. in Human Kinetics. He then enrolled in the Professional Acting Program of the prestigious George Brown Theatre School in Toronto. As an actor, Christian is most noted for his portrayal of John Hinckley Jr. in Oliver Stone’s Production of The Day Reagan Was Shot (Showtime/Paramount). Other film/television projects include The Repossession Mambo (Universal Pictures), Path to 9/11 (ABC), Suburban Madness (CBS), episodes of Doc (PAX), Due Process (ORP Productions) and Fancy Dancing (Norstar). For theatre, Christian has performed across North America for such notable companies as Canstage and Soulpepper. As a writer, Christian has written over a dozen plays, various screenplays, and has had magazine articles published in major magazines. He was the 2005/06 Playwright in Residence for Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in Toronto. Christian is currently in pre-production for the original film, Windigo Road, which he also penned.
