Michael’s previous short, Is One of You Eddie?, was picked up for distribution by Alluvial Filmworks and is currently headlining their DVD compilation First OUT. “Eddie” played alongside many of the top gay-themed shorts of 2006, from Palm Springs to Rhode Island and across the globe in Sydney, Australia. Michael won First Place/Best Drama at Dragon*Con Independent Film Festival for his dark tale The Analyst’s Goodbye. This short, like his others, was seen on the big screen at L.A.’s famed ArcLight Cinema. Michael’s chilling thriller, The Neighborly Thing, played the festival circuit in 2005 highlighted by an appearance at The Hollywood Film Festival and Awards Gala. Michael, himself, was nominated for Best Actor at “Shockerfest” for his creepy crowd- pleasing portrayal of the obsessed archeologist, Sebastian. Michael wrote, directed and produced Gay Zombie, Is One of You Eddie?, and The Analyst’s Goodbye. He wrote, produced and starred in The Neighborly Thing, which was directed by Samantha Light. Michael is constantly writing and has completed two feature length scripts: a dark romantic comedy called The Spot and a “Memento” like thriller called The Medicine Cabinet.
