Andrew Grossman

Andrew Grossman received a B.A. in English from Sarah Lawrence College, and an M.A. in English from Rutgers University. In 2001, he edited and coauthored an anthology of film criticism, Queer Asian Cinema: Shadows in the Shade, the first anthology to address particularly LGBT Asian films. Since then, his published criticism has included numerous reviews and academic essays, with a particular eye towards transgressive, queer, and East Asian subjects. He is also associate editor of the online periodical Bright Lights Film Journal (www.brightlightsfilm.com), where his most recent writing can be accessed. Not That Kind of Christian!! is his first film.
