Dan Hoerner

A recent graduate of Ithaca College in central New York, Dan is a relative newcomer to the world of cinema. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, performing and (more importantly) theatrics have always been in his blood. After high school, Dan’s initial pursuit of higher academia took him to Baldwin-Wallace College where he was accepted into the Music Theatre degree program. Fate, however, intervened and disrupted this short-lived career goal, bringing him back to New York to pursue education and work “behind the scenes” in Cinema, Photography and Media Arts. Drawing upon his “first life” and love of the theatre, Dan has effectively fused these two modes of expression into a cohesive practice, one that is idiosyncratic and not easily forgotten. JUDGMENT DAY is his first narrative short film.
