Clare Smyth

For the last two years Clare Smyth has dedicated her free-time to producing and directing independent productions. Her first project “A Drag King Extravaganza”, a documentary about drag kings and their conference, was selected and is being distributed to film festivals and Universities by Frameline Distribution. Her second project “The Main Event” is a short film about two male pro-wrestlers who fall in love inside the ring, and is currently being distributed by the CFMDC. With eight years of television and film production in her background and her current day-job as a broadcaster, Clare understands the film and television business and looks forward to adding some of her own creative flare.
