Perschon, Christiana

Christiana Perschon is a filmmaker based in Vienna, Austria. She holds a diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in Art and Film, worked for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF), the Austrian Audiovisual Archive (Österreichische Mediathek), as a curator for the Austrian Film Museum (Barbara Hammer Retrospective 2018) and as a research associate at the Ludwig-Boltzmann-Institute for History and Society. She is a member of Golden Pixel Cooperative and filmkoop wien. Her work has received several awards and grants and has been shown at international film festivals, such as Internationale Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen, Visions du Réel Festival International de Cinéma Nyon, Edinburgh International Film Festival, Cork Film Festival, Cinema Vérité Iran International Documentary Film Festival, Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival.
