Bonnie Whitehall

Whitehall + Brucke are a film collective based in Toronto, Canada, who produce narrative, documentary and experimental works shot on film. Whitehall stepped into her first directorial role with their production ‘Embers in the Night: A New Folklore of War’, while taking a break from her full time teaching position. Her previous work in post-production sound and MA studies lends a broad set of competencies to this role. Brucke’s feature film ‘Chernozem’, filmed while working with the art collective 85A in Glasgow, Scotland, screened at the Montréal Underground Film Festival and Festival L’Étrange (France, in 2015). His recent short experimental documentary ‘Trans-Leitmotif: A Cinematic Portrait of Toronto + Hamilton’ is screening at the Rotterdam Architectural Festival.
