Claudia Carino

Claudia is an actor/writer/producer for the stage and screen. Born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, and having lived across North America with her military family, she now shares her time between Ottawa and Toronto. A graduate of the Theatre Performance Conservatory Program through Humber College, Claudia trained in physical, ensemble based theatre appearing in The Two Gentlemen of Verona and Caucasian Chalk Circle as well as in adaptations of The Iliad and The Idiot. Upon graduating, Claudia appeared in the Canadian, feminist production of This is For You, Anna with Hart House Theatre and then produced, wrote and acted in an original, devised theatre piece entitled A Drop of Water for the Toronto Fringe Festival. Cultivating her aptitude for producing, Claudia has been studying screenwriting and filmmaking, with When I See You being her film directorial debut alongside James Ramsay. Claudia hopes to continue to bring forward relevant and engaging stories that delve to find truth, and most importantly, entertain.
