Daniel Warth

Daniel Warth is an award-winning film director, screenwriter, producer and editor. His first feature film, “Dim the Fluorescents”, won the 2017 Slamdance Film Festival Grand Jury Award and was the only North American film to screen in competition at both the 2017 Beijing International Film Festival (Jury President: Bille August) and the 2017 Fabrique Du Cinéma Awards (Jury President: Willem Dafoe). After the film’s seven-city theatrical release and its broadcast debut on Crave, “Dim the Fluorescents” garnered a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes, being called “one of the year’s strongest debuts” by The New York Times and 2018’s most underrated film by The AV Club. Daniel has since teamed up with producer Daniel Bekerman (“The Witch”) to make his second feature, “Incidental Music”, and is currently writing two other features: “The Look of Love” was funded by the Telefilm Development Fund’s 2018 Selective Stream and “Enduring” has received development funding from the Canada Council for the Arts, Telefilm Development Fund’s 2019 Selective Stream and the Ontario Creates Development Fund.
