Maryanna Chan

Maryanna Chan is an artist and illustrator from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She studied Illustration at the Alberta College of Art + Design (BDes, 2018) and is currently studying Scénographie at the National Theatre school of Canada. Across Maryanna’s interdisciplinary work she talks about representation, cultural identities, and equality. Overall her goal is to create a body of work that can help herself and other people understand and navigate complicated personal and social issues. She wants her work to communicate the truth, and to encourage people to be more positive, creative, and open minded in all aspects of their lives.
