Public Programming
CFMDC has grown from a pioneering distribution service into a multifaceted organization hosting a variety of public programming year-round.

Workshops
Looking to educate your class, group or peers about what CFMDC distribution looks like? We offer distribution workshops for emerging artists who are looking to disseminate their works to national or international markets.

In Residence
CFMDC is proud to host students, artists, and scholars to research and program from our collection. We also offer workshops and training opportunities for film exhibition, preservation, and collections management. Some past inResidence participants can be seen through the below link, stay tuned for more recent inResidence participants when our new website launches this spring.

Internships
CFMDC is happy to welcome students who are looking for course credit into our office to gain hands-on learning in an artist-run centre.

Protest Banner Library
Conceived by multidisciplinary artist and writer Aram Han Sifuentes (she/they), the Protest Banner Lending Library exists at the intersection of textile art, social practice, and activism. The library reflects the work of multiple workshop participants led by Aram at CFMDC in April 2019, encouraged to express their unique social and political messages through protest banners.
