Panel Discussion February 2, 2:30pm EST on ZOOM
The panel discussion has been archived and is available for viewing on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/cfmdcfilm/videos/3883920234992834
This online screening is organised in association with Kim Knowles’ recently published book Experimental Film and Photochemical Practices (Palgrave Macmillan). The book discusses in detail The Independent Imaging Retreat (Film Farm), established by Philip Hoffman and Marian McMahon in 1994, and incorporates an autoethnographic account of the experience. The programme showcases a selection of films discussed in this chapter, weaving together artisanal practices, perspectives on landscape, bodily expressions, and feminist concerns.
There will be an online panel discussion with Kim Knowles and artists Philip Hoffman, Penny McCann, Francisca Duran, and Eva Kolcze on February 2 at 2:30pm EST on ZOOM: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86885727866
