Dave Cox

After graduating from the first Animation Program at Sheridan College in 1970, Cox went to work as the Animation Director at Videoart Productions in Toronto. Videoart produced “Sesame Street” segments, commercial TV spots, industrial films, and short TVOntario series for several years. In 1976, the company self-produced “Symbiosis,” a short film which won several international awards. They made another personal short film, “In His Own Image” in 1977, followed by an experimental piece, “Bible,” in 1978. Since that time, Cox has been occupied with TV commercials, TV series, and feature film work, including “Inspector Gadget,” “Magic School Bus,” “Rolie Polie Olie,” “Little Bear,” “All Dogs Go To Heaven,” and “Franklin Turtle.”
