Kate Bernstein

Kate Bernstein started her own production company, New Girl Order Production, Inc. in 2002. Kate graduated from Swarthmore College in 1999 with a Summa Cum Laude degree in Film and Cultural Studies, and has a Masters degree in Cinema Studies fron New York University. She has worked as a television producer and writer and is currently working as a producer at VH1 (MTV Networks) and as Film Editor of “Flyer” Magazine. Her short “Ladies Room” has screened at Slamdance Film Festival, Cucalorus Film Festival, Taos Vision Quest Film Festival, and Moondance International Film Festival, among others. It received a special jury award from the Arizona International Film Festival in 2004.
