Mario DeGiglio-Bellemare

Mario is an independent filmmaker who has won awards for his experimental short films, Zombie Business (2004) and Main Attraction (2011). His films combine a love of “exploitation films,” the horror genre, and attractions cinema. He is also a programmer at the Montréal Underground Film Festival (MUFF) and the co-director of the Montréal Monstrum Society. Mario est un cinéaste indépendant qui a remporté des prix pour ses courts métrages expérimentaux Zombie Business (2004) et Main Attraction (2011). Ses films combinent l’amour du « film d’exploitation », l’horreur et le cinéma d’attractions. Il est également programmateur au Festival de Films Underground de Montréal (MUFF) et codirecteur de la Société Monstrum de Montréal.
