Mark Huisman started as a writer of poetry and short stories. As a member of comedy troupe Delaware Water Gap, he wrote and directed some of their most popular sketches. Since then, three of his one-act plays have been produced to rave audience review. As a director and fight choreographer, Mark has worked in live theatre for thirteen years. While directing fights for “Anderson Unbound” at the Canadian Film Centre, Mark became interested in directing for camera. With the partnership of Claire Frances Muir (Marchlight Films), Mark directed his first film, “Seed of a Thought.”
Claire Frances Muir studied French Literature and Theatre at the University of Alberta and then went on to complete the professional acting program. Claire has worked regularly as an actress in regional theatre throughout Canada. She has been involved in theatre and music for over fifteen years. “Seed of a Thought” is Claire’s first foray into producing after gaining experience in such productions as “Animorphs” (Scholastic) and “My Louisiana Sky,” and working in accounts and promotions for the magazine “Ontario Gardener.”
