Stark, Karly

Karly Stark is an experimental filmmaker, curator, and educator currently based in Oakland, CA. She holds an MFA in Cinema from San Francisco State University and a BA in Film Studies from UC Berkeley. She currently works as a Lecturer in the School of Cinema at SFSU and a Preservation/Digitization Assistant at the Media Resources Center at UC Berkeley. Her creative work has screened widely both locally and internationally and incorporates aspects of poetry, lyrical, essay, and diary film forms that explore human experience and memory through a queer lens.
