Alana Bartol

Alana Bartol is an interdisciplinary Canadian artist working in moving image, installation, and participatory practice. Their work examines resource extraction, petropropaganda, and more-than-human relations through research-based and sensory approaches informed by queer ecologies. Bartol was longlisted for the Sobey Art Award in 2019 and 2021, and their video work has screened across Canada and internationally.
