Blame the Shadows Media

Blame the Shadows is a collective of multidisciplinary artists. Collaborating closely, they utilise screen-based methodologies to tell captivating stories rooted in raw human experiences. Their work emerges from the intersection of contemporary art, cinema, and digital practice — expanding traditional definitions and understandings of storytelling. Through their moving-image and lens-based projects, Blame the Shadows creates socially engaged, meditative, authentic, and visually rich works that explore themes of identity, marginality, and community. Their pieces are often immersive and playful, yet deeply personal.
