Kafka’s Meditation
“Kafka’s Meditation” is based on five short stories published by Franz Kafka in the early 1900’s, while he lived on the bank of the Vltava River in Prague. The stories serve as touchstones for feelings of longing, belonging, anxiety, paranoia, disorientation and ambiguous sexual identity. These conditions are explored through the lens of a person living with Body Focused Repetitive Behaviour (BFRB), a categorization of mental wellness that falls within the spectrum of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
