  • Wads and Wads

    Produced for the “Money” program at Splice This!, Toronto’s Super 8 film festival, “Wads and Wads” traces the attempt of two young men to have sex through a partition of clear vinyl. Toronto’s craft-couture sewing club The Westside Stitchers helped design the vinyl partition through which the young men play at lovemaking. The action of the film was improvised by the performers and shot and edited entirely in-camera by Robert Kennedy.

    Freud was wrong – it is actually all about colour and form. A hyper-aesthetic sexploration trilogy with appearances by Jiva MacKay, Belleisabelle and Petra Chevrier. “Bedroom Suite” was made in response to Canada Custom’s definition of “obscenity.”

    “My Heart Belongs to Daddy” is a story about the zany mis-education of a small-town queen. Lennie wants nothing more than to be Miranda Richardson. Lennie’s daddy wants nothing less. Determined to achieve his goal of becoming a “somebody,” Lennie enters an amateur drag contest, only to find the path strewn with heartbreak and betrayal.
