    Shot entirely on iPhones 5S and 5C, in this non-linear narrative two women contemplate the similarities between a lesbian bar in San Jose, Costa Rica and their experiences of the dyke bar scene in Toronto decades earlier.

    A scrambled satellite signal sets the tone for the mixed messages of fundamentalism and politics. A digitally scrambled broadcast, blurs televised images into a kaleidoscope of sound and color, starkly portraying the co-option of religious dogma for profit and political gain.

    Moves toward the vision of time when Heaven descends to earth and makes all earth one with Heaven…when the outside becomes as the inside, and the inside as the outside; when the male and the female become one and the same…when the end returns to the beginning and the beginning finds completion in the end.     An investigation of time and memory seen from the perspective of a mysterious space. Shadowy images through opaque glass-brick obscure familiarity as distant sounds complete a haunting remembrance of a city. As the mystery unfolds, a solitary exploration is revealed.

    An aging junkie (the filmmaker’s uncle) reflects upon the glories of smack, his rebel / criminal past and getting ‘clean’.

    “No End” was inspired by a poem I wrote over the course of six months. During this process, abstract images surfaced, subsided, and settled: eventually forming the foundation of a film.
