Chris Gehman is a filmmaker, curator, and occasional writer who lives in Toronto. His films have been screened, and won awards, at festivals and screening programs around the world. He was Artistic Director of the Images Festival from 2000-2004, and has worked as a programmer for Cinematheque Ontario and TIFF. His writings on experimental media have appeared in a number of anthologies and periodicals, and he edited Explosion in the Movie Machine: Essays and Documents on Toronto Artists' Film and Video (2013), and co-edited The Sharpest Point: Animation at the End of Cinema (2005) with Steve Reinke.
