EMMA ROUFS
Emma Roufs is an experimental filmmaker who explores themes related to memory and wonder through diary film and essay-film practices, with a focus on analog formats such as Super 8 and 16mm. Her films have been shown in various festivals and exhibition spaces around the world. Emma is an independent curator, co-founder and co-director of la lumière collective; a curating collective, artist studio and micro-cinema in Montreal (Canada) which is dedicated to screening and shining a light onto exploratory film practices and their makers.
