    An exploration of the sense of self, through kaleidoscopic imagery, distorted sounds, and a flurry of colours. Fragmentasia is a self-reflexive short, shot on 16mm and Super8, using animation techniques, prisms, and mirrors, to examine the outward self versus the internal self.

Before starting the lesson, Taranjit Bains interrupts him to ask where the instructor is. Unsatisfied that Mr. Frimpong is teaching the class, Taranjit does not return. This isn’t the first time Mr. Frimpong’s legitimacy to teach the subject has been questioned, but it eats away at him nonetheless.

    Filmed over 2 years (2020-2022), at home and away, Deep 1 is a diaristic meditation, flower/plant processed and decayed with hyacinth and lichen extract. Winged and four legged animals, both wild and domestic, traverse the frame marked by a hand-made practice.
